We are pleased to share a brief update on how we are evolving Octopus Cloud 3.0 platform, what’s coming next in our product, and an invitation to our upcoming webinar.

Strengthening our collaboration with you

Our vision is to be closer than ever to our customers and partners and to develop OC3 together with you. We are gradually transforming OC3 from a pure SPLA tool into a comprehensive solution that service providers can use to deliver Software Asset Management (SAM) services to their end customers.

By working more closely with you, we aim to:

• Make SAM operations more transparent and efficient
• Support you in building recurring services based on OC3
• Reduce manual effort and risk in licensing and compliance processes

Your feedback is essential for this journey, and we are always open to input on how OC3 can better support your business.

Coming soon in OC3: New features

We are currently working on several key enhancements that will further improve how you use OC3 in your daily operations:

1. SAM Baseline as a Software Solution for SPLA Partners: We are converting the Effective Licensing Position (ELP) that your SAM Partner or Auditors create into a software solution that gives SPLA partners continuous, near real-time insight into their licensing position. This will help you stay compliant, reduce license compliance risks, and be ready for audits all the time.
2. LDAP and MFA Integration: To strengthen security and simplify access management, we are introducing next to Microsoft Entra ID also LDAP and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) integration. This will allow you to align OC3 with your existing identity management and security standards.
3. Privacy Controls for Views: We are adding privacy control to views to give you more granular control over who can see which data. This will support stricter governance, data protection, and clearer separation of responsibilities across teams and customers.

We will share more details and timelines as these features approach general availability.
