When the scan process is done, OC Scanner creates a Reports folder with ten CSV report files inside.
OC Scanner creates the following report files:
- {scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_Customers.csv
- {scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_Datacenters.csv
- {scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_Clusters.csv
- {scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_Hosts.csv
- {scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_VMs.csv
- {scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_DevicesSoftware.csv
- {scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_DevicePerformance.csv
- Only generated, when performance monitoring is activated.
- {scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_CustomersServers.csv
- {scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_Users.csv
- {scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_UsersSoftware.csv
- scan_file_name}_{scanner_instance_id}_ScanAlerts.csv
When multiple scan files are used for one OC Scanner, each report file has a combined prefix and contains data merged from all scan files. For example, the combined_{scanner_instance_id}_Clusters.csv file contains merged data about clusters.
Report files are stored in a subfolder labeled with the current date. If you run OC Scanner many times on the same day, the latest report files overwrite the previous ones. You can also configure OC Scanner to delete local report files after sending them to the OC Configurator API server. Old report files are packed into a ZIP archive every 30 days. This archive is stored in the Archives subfolder.
