SPLA pricing can be added in the OC SPLA tool, via OC Reporter web interface, using three methods:
- Navigate to the OC Reporter web interface > upper left corner > Show workspace details section > Purchase prices license catalog tab. In the given tab, populate the pricing for the specific SPLA part numbers that need to be reported on the SPLA reports.
- Instead of entering all SPLA pricing at once, we can gradually build the pricing using the OC Reporter > Reports section, where the OC SPLA tool will only ask for pricing it currently needs to generate the SPLA reports. As new licenses are detected the tool will ask for additional pricing accordingly. To achieve this we navigate to OC Reporter > Reports section > select the SPLA Reseller report (initially current state while testing, and ‘observation period’ in production), and then click on the ‘Generate reports’ button.
- Alternative to the above two methods is to populate the pricing using a CSV template provided in the OC Reporter > Data Import section. To do this we need to navigate to the OC Reporter > Data Import > Import reseller license catalog section > Click on the ‘CSV Template’ link to download the CSV template file. Once the file is downloaded, open it in Excel, or similar, and then modify the file structure accordingly. Data is semicolon separated. Make sure to use your production OC Reporter workspace ID (OC Reporter web interface > upper left corner > Show workspace details), as well as your production SPLA P/Ns, and SPLA pricing. Once the file has been modified accordingly, save it, and then navigate back to the OC Reporter > Data Import > Import reseller license catalog section to import the file, by drag and drop, or by selecting the file from the filesystem.
