The requirements differ depending on whether OC Reporter is installed on the same server as OC Configurator and whether OC Configurator is installed with OC Configurator API. The following are the requirements for the different scenarios.

Hardware Requirements

Hardware requirements depend on whether OC Reporter is installed on the same server as OC Configurator.

Without OC Reporter On The Same Server

vCPU Cores 4
vRAM 4 GB (8 GB optimal)
Disk Space 100 GB

 

With OC Reporter On The Same Server

vCPU Cores 8
vRAM 8 GB
Disk Space 100 GB

 

Software Requirements

Architecture 64-bit
Operating System Windows Server 2012 R2 or higher
Frameworks
  • .NET Framework 4.5.2 or higher
  • Windows Management Framework 3.0 or higher
Webserver

A web server is not needed for the agentless single scanner approach.
  • IIS Server with HTTP Activation
  • WCF Services (.NET)
  • TCP port sharing
  • SSL/TLS certificate to be used for API. You can utilize self-signed, private, and public CA-issued certificates. (optional)
Updates Windows updates fully applied to the latest patch level.
