- OC Scanners and OC Agents authenticate the OCID (your unique OC account ID) via the Internet or through the central OC Server in your network.
- If direct Internet access fails, OC Scanners/Agents attempt authentication via the central OC Configurator server, which then verifies the OCID over the Internet.
