The Software section presents the information collected about the installed software.
Installed Software
The INSTALLED SOFTWARE tab contains a list of all collected installed software in your environment. When you click on one of the software, it will show you the servers, where the software is installed.
Not Yet Assigned Software
The NOT YET ASSIGNED SOFTWARE NAMES tab contains a list of found software names, which couldn’t be mapped to our software catalog. In such cases, you can click on one of the software in the list and map that software manually with the software catalog, or simply send to our support team the list of the not assigned software in text form. They will then map them for you. When you map the software names manually, our backend team gets informed to double-check if the mapping was correct.
Assigned Software Names
The ASSIGNED SOFTWARE NAMES tab contains the list of software you mapped with the software catalog. Once the mapped software is approved by us, the software will disappear from the assigned software names list.
Ignored Software Names
The IGNORED SOFTWARE NAMES tab contains the list of software you ignored from the not yet assigned names list. Usually, no license-relevant software is going into the ignored software names list. Once the ignored software is approved by us, the software will disappear from the ignored software names list.
